La Bota de Malt Whisky Bota No. 66 Bota NO

La Bota de Malt Whisky No. 66 is a limited single-cask Spanish malt whisky selected and bottled by Equipo Navazos. Made entirely from malted barley grown and distilled in Castilla la Vieja, it was aged for approximately 12 years, including its final 7 years in a single cask previously used for an old dry Oloroso Sherry solera in Jerez.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with Jamón Ibérico, cured meats, aged Manchego, roasted nuts, dark chocolate and dried-fruit desserts.

Tasting Notes: Rich and deeply influenced by Oloroso, with dried fruit, toasted nuts, caramel, cocoa, sweet spice, tobacco and mature oak.

Nose: Honey, sweet tobacco, roasted grain, cocoa, caramel, walnuts, dried fruit, leather and oak spice.

Palate: Dried fruit, toasted walnuts, caramel, sweet spices, malt, oak and pronounced Oloroso Sherry character.

Finish: Long, rich and warming with lingering sweetness, nuts, oak and Sherry notes.

Serve: Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.
