Sheringham Distillery Whisky

Produced by Sheringham Distillery on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Sheringham Canadian Whisky is a small-batch, grain-to-glass whisky made exclusively from B.C.-grown rye, wheat and malted barley. Distilled using traditional methods and matured for at least three years in new American white oak barrels, it is bottled at 45% ABV. The combination of rye-driven spice, softer wheat and malted barley creates a robust, full-bodied whisky with pepper, vanilla, cooked fruit, brown sugar and subtle leather character.

Food Pairing: Grilled steak, roasted pork, aged cheddar, smoked meats, apple desserts, or toasted nuts with brown sugar and warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Robust and full-bodied, combining deep rye spice and pepper with vanilla, cooked fruit, brown sugar, seasoned oak and subtle leather.

Nose: Rich and grain-forward, with vanilla and cooked fruit accompanied by brown sugar, pepper, toasted oak and gentle rye spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and spicy, developing peppery rye alongside vanilla, caramelized fruit, brown sugar and rich American oak.

Finish: Warming and persistent, with lingering rye spice, vanilla, toasted oak and a subtle touch of leather.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature, over a large cube of ice, or in rye-forward cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
