Shelter Point Distillery Ripple Rock 50 Virgin Oak Matured Whisky is a special expression from Shelter Point Distillery located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills using 100% malted barley grown on their oceanfront farm, this expression is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in deep alligator-charred virgin oak casks before being bottled at a robust 50% ABV strength.

Food Pairing: Smoked beef brisket, grilled ribeye steak, dark chocolate tarts, aged gouda, or maple-glazed pork belly.

Tasting Notes : Deep amber gold in appearance with a full-bodied, rich, and coating mouthfeel.

Nose : Intense vanilla, charred oak, toasted caramel, baking spices, and soft dried fruits.
