Senensis London Dry Gin 500ml

Senensis London Dry Gin is an Italian craft spirit produced in the heart of Tuscany, taking its name from the Latin designation for the historic city of Siena. Distilled using traditional copper pot stills, this expression highlights local Tuscan terroir by incorporating hand-harvested wild botanicals from the surrounding Chianti hills. Built on a high-quality grain neutral spirit, the botanical bill revolves around wild Tuscan juniper berries (renowned globally for their high essential oil content), alongside local herbs such as iris root (orris), sage, rosemary, lemon peel, and sweet orange. The result is a classical, juniper-forward London Dry style with a distinctly Mediterranean herbal character.

Food Pairing: Tuscan cured meats (finocchiona, prosciutto di Toscano), pecorino cheese, crostini with olive tapenade, rosemary-crusted roasted lamb, and grilled Mediterranean vegetables.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a smooth, dry, and refined mouthfeel.

Nose: Intensely aromatic and resinous up front, led by rich Tuscan pine juniper, followed by fresh garden herbs like sage and rosemary, rounded out by bright citrus zest and soft floral orris.

Palate: Crisp, dry, and well-structured, delivering a strong foundation of piney juniper and warm coriander, giving way to earthy herbal complexity, subtle peppery spice, and zesty citrus oils.

Finish: Long, clean, and dry with lingering notes of wild pine juniper, subtle Mediterranean herbs, and a fresh citrus lift.

Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium Indian tonic water, garnished with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a lemon twist, or build into a classic dry Martini or Negroni.
