Sena 2019 375ml

Seña 2019 is an exceptionally structured, elegant, and masterfully balanced icon Chilean red blend, celebrating the landmark 25th anniversary vintage of this historic estate. Sourced from the unique hillside biodynamic vineyards of Panquehue in the Aconcagua Valley, this magnificent vintage was shaped by a cooler than average summer, allowing for a long, gentle hang-time that yielded immense flavor complexity. It displays a deep, brilliant ruby-red color with vibrant purple highlights, uncoiling with a sophisticated, multilayered bouquet of fresh blueberries, cassis, and orange peel, seamlessly layered with floral suggestions of violets alongside sweet tobacco, cedar wood, and Madagascar vanilla. On the palate, it exhibits a medium to full-bodied framework driven by a remarkably pure, energetic core of dark forest fruits and blueberry pie, beautifully pinned by a fine vein of refreshing natural acidity and tight, ultra-fine, silky tannins before tapering into an endlessly rich, savory, and sophisticated finish with a lingering chalky and mineral-filled persistence.

Food Pairing: Pairs spectacularly with charcoal-grilled dry-aged ribeye steak, roasted venison loin with a juniper reduction, or rosemary-crusted rack of lamb.
