About the Scrimaglio Langhe Arneis
The Scrimaglio Langhe Arneis is a delicate and refreshing white wine from the Piedmont region of Italy, known for its elegant floral and fruity profile. This wine is crafted from the native Arneis grape, often referred to as the "little rascal" due to its historical difficulty in cultivation. It typically presents a straw-yellow colour and offers a complex bouquet of white peach, citrus, acacia flowers, and hawthorn. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and dry, with a well-balanced acidity and a characteristic hint of almond on the finish. To enhance its texture and aromatic complexity, the wine undergoes a short period of ageing on its lees in stainless steel vats before a brief refinement in the bottle.
