Scrimaglio Barolo

The Scrimaglio Barolo is a traditional and highly regarded expression of the Nebbiolo grape, produced by a winery with a century-old heritage in Piedmont. Scrimaglio is currently positioned as the boutique, high-end label of the Vite Colte cooperative, where only the finest grapes from their 300 hectares of vineyards are selected for these bottlings. The wine is characterized by its deep garnet color and a complex, enchanting bouquet of dried roses, licorice, coffee, and savory spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced with velvety tannins and deep flavors of plum and black cherry.
