About the Schild Estate Barossa Valley Merlot
Plush and expressive, this Barossa Valley Merlot layers dark plum, cherry and raspberry with touches of chocolate, vanilla and clove. The palate is smooth and generous, framed by fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity before a long, softly spiced finish.
Food Pairing: Grilled beef, roasted lamb, barbecue pork, Mexican beef burritos, mushroom dishes, and aged cheddar.
