About the 2020 Scherrer Chardonnay Alexander Valley SV
A rich and complex Chardonnay from Scherrer’s Alexander Valley estate vineyards, barrel-fermented and aged nearly two years in French oak on lees. Notes of lemon curd, lime zest, mineral thread and bright acidity mingle with a rounded mouthfeel and long, balanced finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with lemon-thyme roast chicken, creamy seafood chowder, buttered lobster tail, mushroom risotto with herbs, or grilled halibut with citrus beurre blanc.
