About the Champagne Helene Beaugrand-Deniset Blanc de Blancs 2014
Champagne Hélène Beaugrand-Deniset Blanc de Blancs 2014 is an refined, elegant vintage Champagne produced in the village of Montgueux within the Aube region of Champagne. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grown on chalk-rich soils, this wine undergoes extended lees aging before release. In the glass, it displays a brilliant pale-gold hue with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose opens with expressive aromas of citrus zest, crisp green apple, white peach, and white flowers, integrated with subtler nuances of brioche, clover honey, and toasted almonds. On the palate, it is light-to-medium bodied and silky, delivering a focused core of ripe orchard fruit and stone fruit balanced by lively, energetic acidity and a long, chalky, mineral finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with fresh oysters on the half shell, pan-seared sea scallops, grilled turbot, sushi, goat cheese crostini, and light seafood canapés.
