A magnificent Northern Italian organic white wine displaying a rich, brilliant pale straw yellow color with characteristic shimmering sand-colored hues. Masterfully produced by pioneering third-generation green vignerons from the Savian family in the tenacity-rich calcareous clay soils of Annone Veneto, this sustainably crafted Pinot Grigio opens with an incredibly pure and delicate bouquet of fresh white orchard flowers, crunchy green apples, and ripe Williams pears. The complex, low-sulfite nose is beautifully supported by regional characteristics of wild chamomile, fresh lemon peel, and a distinct, elegant hint of raw almonds. On the palate, it balances a surprisingly fleshy, medium-bodied stone fruit core and a vibrant, linear alpine acidity with a supple, rounded mouthfeel, culminating in a clean, thoroughly refreshing, and harmonious dry finish layered with a pleasant streak of chalky marine minerality.
