San Marzano Edda Bianco 2023 is a luminous, lush, and refined Italian white wine crafted by Cantine San Marzano in the sun-drenched region of Salento. Composed predominantly of Chardonnay alongside local white varieties such as Fiano and Moscatello Selvatico, it undergoes partial fermentation and four months of aging on the fine lees in French oak barrels with weekly bâtonnage. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow color with golden highlights. The expressive bouquet opens with vibrant notes of yellow peach, pineapple, white flowers, lychee, and a subtle touch of delicate vanilla. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, supple, and beautifully balanced, featuring juicy stone fruit flavors accompanied by fresh acidity, a silky texture, and a gently saline, mineral-driven finish.
