San Marzano Collezione Cinquanta 7th Edition is a celebrated, non-vintage flagship red wine crafted by Cantine San Marzano to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the winery's founding. Created as a harmonious blend of 50% Primitivo and 50% Negroamaro harvested from old-vine, bush-trained (alberello) plots across Salento, it undergoes 12 months of aging in French oak barriques to build depth and refined structure. In the glass, it presents a deep ruby red color with vibrant purple highlights. The complex nose reveals rich aromas of ripe plum, blackberry jam, and dark cherries balanced by sweet notes of vanilla, cocoa, and licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, opulent, and exceptionally smooth, offering a luscious layer of concentrated dark fruit supported by soft, polished tannins and a long, warm, spice-tinged finish.
