San Marzano Anniversario 62 Primitivo di Manduria Riserva 2019 is an opulent, deeply concentrated red wine crafted to commemorate the year Cantine San Marzano was founded in 1962. Sourced from very old bush vines (alberello) in San Marzano and Sava, the hand-harvested, slightly overripe grapes undergo 18 months of maturation in fine French and American oak barriques. In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The complex nose delivers expressive aromatics of prune, sweet cherry jam, tobacco, and subtle baking spices.
