About the San Felice Pugnitello 2010
San Felice Pugnitello 2010 is an extraordinary, deeply full-bodied Tuscan red wine crafted entirely from the rare, ancient Pugnitello grape variety rescued from extinction by Agricola San Felice. It displays complex, dark aromatics of dark prune, plum, dried terracotta, roasted herbs, sweet tobacco, and tangy oak spices. On the palate, it exhibits exceptional depth and structure, featuring firm, close-grained tannins, balanced acidity, and a rich core of black fruit that finishes with long, savory persistence.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted game meats, wild boar ragù, braised beef stews, bistecca alla Fiorentina, and aged Pecorino cheese.

Offering a dark well of black cherry, blackberry, leather and spice flavors, this red features formidable tannins but remains balanced, with bright, saturated fruit and a rich texture. The grip holds up to grilled steak. Best from 2016 through 2025.
