A magnificent Southern Italian white wine displaying a bright, pale gold color with silver reflections. Named after a rare, graceful native butterfly found on Mount Etna, this exceptional white blend is organically farmed using traditional Alberello bush vines at high elevations in Milo. The complex nose opens with an intense, incredibly fresh bouquet of citrus blossoms, crisp green apples, and white peach, beautifully layered with suggestions of crushed volcanic stones, wet ash, yellow bramble fruit, and a distinct touch of anise. On the palate, it balances a finely textured, medium-bodied fruit core and a racy, linear mountain acidity with an intensely savory, almost salty marine minerality that glides into a clean, extraordinarily long, and precise finish.
