Modus Primo, a distinguished Supertuscan, blends three noble grape varieties–Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon–from three distinct vineyards. It honors the legacy of Modus, showcasing the excellence of Poggio Casciano’s terroir through each refined vintage.
An enveloping bouquet of ripe cherry, orange zest, balsamic undertones, and hints of sweet tobacco and vanilla. On the palate: full, round, and harmonious, with intriguing notes of blackberry and chocolate, supported by velvety, silky tannins, leading to a persistent finish with a touch of spice.

A very savory nose of tar, leather and cigar smoke draws levity from undertones of vanilla, baking spices and dark berries. On the palate, the fruit brightens, but things stay savory overall, through a dark, bitter chocolate finish. Acid bubbles around big, chewy tannins.
