Ruffino Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a powerful, elegant, and beautifully balanced red wine crafted from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grown at the historic Greppone Mazzi estate in Montalcino. Sourced from vineyards situated at high and mid-hill elevations between 210 and 460 meters, it undergoes long maceration followed by 24 months of aging in traditional large Slavonian oak casks and extended bottle maturation. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. The complex nose delivers expressive aromatics of sour cherry, plum, and blackcurrant intermingled with sweet tobacco, dried sage, cloves, and crushed stone minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and graceful, framing juicy red berry fruit with firm, fine-grained tannins and a long, vibrant finish.
