Roughstock Reserve Whisky

Roughstock Reserve Whisky is an Alberta-made Canadian whisky from Hansen Distillery in Edmonton. The current release is a blend of whiskies aged between three and seven years and bottled at 40% ABV. Designed as a robust yet approachable expression, it combines caramelized vanilla and toasted oak with cinnamon, orchard fruit and dark chocolate, leading into a smooth finish of charred wood and maple sweetness.

Food Pairing: Barbecue pork, grilled steak, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, apple pie, or dark chocolate with maple and warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and full-bodied, balancing toasted oak and caramelized vanilla with cinnamon, orchard fruit, dark chocolate and maple sweetness.

Nose: Rich and inviting, with toasted oak and caramelized vanilla accompanied by subtle baking spice and sweet grain character.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, developing cinnamon and ripe orchard fruit alongside dark chocolate, vanilla and seasoned oak.
