The silky texture and fruit complexity of Oakville are all here with dark blackberry and toasty, sweet oak spices mingling with dried herbs and clove complexity. True to the vintage, this wine's rich ripeness shows the warmth of the growing season, balanced by a refreshing lift of acidity as its flows across the palate.
Textural richness defines our Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep, powerful flavors of blackberry, anise, black olive, fresh tobacco, and dark chocolate mingle with sweet oak spices, nutmeg, and clove. The wine is firmly structured by velvety, age-worthy tannins.
93 Points - Wine Spectator
Rich and seductive in feel, with a lovely swath of loamy-edged steeped plum and blackberry compote flavors, backed with flashes of anise and sweet bay leaf. A loamy edge extends nicely in lockstep with the fruit on the finish. Textbook Oakville Cabernet. Best from 2022 through 2034.
a few bottles remain of 2018.

#6 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2022
The 2019 The Estates Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of blackberry, blueberry, plum, chocolate, nutmeg, and subtle oak with flavors of black plum, blackberry, blueberry, and fine, well-integrated tannins. Juicy with good acidity and a beautiful flow from entry to finish.
Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, 1% Merlot
Throws off some pretty gorgeous aromas of violet, anise and sweet bay leaf, with a core of ripe, streamlined boysenberry and blackberry pâte de fruit flavors following closely. The finish has a racy graphite edge, while the fruit and aromas just spill through. Approachable now, too. Drink now.
Almost entirely from To Kalon (there's 3% from the former Franciscan property), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon The Estates Oakville is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% each Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec and 1% Merlot. It's a deeper, earthier wine than the Stags Leap version, with loam notes joining plum and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, plush and velvety, it finishes long, with softly dusty tannins. Best After 2023.
