Produced at the estate in Francis Abécassis's portfolio in the Petite Champagne region of Cognac, Réviseur Cognac XXO represents the official Extra Extra Old legal classification (aged for a minimum of 14 years, with components in this blend aged significantly longer). Sourced entirely from the 90-hectare estate in the Petite Champagne cru, this single-estate expression benefits from the region's chalky soils and unique microclimate. Distilled on the lees in small copper pot stills and aged in French oak casks, it exhibits an extraordinarily smooth, full-bodied profile with complex layers of licorice, candied citrus peel, rancio, cigar box, and dark dried fruits.

Food Pairing: High-percentage dark chocolate, aged Gouda or Roquefort cheese, pecan tart, or enjoyed as a refined post-dinner sip alongside a mild cigar.

Tasting Notes: Dark amber with copper and mahogany highlights, featuring a rich, coating viscosity and slow, thick legs along the glass.

Nose: Rich, refined, and aromatic, opening with candied orange, plum jam, and dried fig, followed by cedar wood, licorice, pipe tobacco, and prominent oak rancio.

Palate: Broad, luxurious, and velvety on the palate, featuring sweet dark raisins, stewed fruits, and honeyed nuts upfront before unfolding into soft oak tannins, baking spices, leather, and dark cocoa.
