About the Réva Cannubi Barolo
A magnificent Northern Italian red wine sourced from arguably the most celebrated and historic cru hill in the entire Barolo zone, displaying a beautiful, clear ruby red color with bright garnet reflections. Sourced from organically managed old vines on Cannubi's famous sand-and-clay soils, the highly complex nose opens with an ethereal, voluptuous bouquet of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and blood orange peel, masterfully layered with sophisticated notes of rosebud, fresh sage, licorice, star anise, and a delicate mineral trace of cold stone. On the full-bodied and profoundly complete palate, it balances a deep, enveloping core of warm red fruits and a vibrant, vertical acidity with an impeccably polished, tight-knit structure of silky, suppler tannins that give it a seductive, caressing texture and lift, carrying into an exceptionally long, savory, and mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with roasted rack of lamb, pan-seared duck breast, slow-braised beef shanks, fresh tajarin pasta tossed with white Alba truffles, and mature hard cheeses.
