Réva Barolo 2019

A magnificent Northern Italian red wine from the excellent 2019 vintage, displaying a classic, translucent garnet red color with bright orange reflections. Crafted from organically managed estate vineyards, the highly complex nose opens with an aristocratic bouquet of wild strawberries, dried sour cherries, and orange peel, masterfully layered with sophisticated notes of licorice, sweet tobacco, tar, and crushed red roses. On the full-bodied yet profoundly elegant palate, it balances a deep, concentrated red fruit core and vibrant, linear acidity with a tight, chalky structure of velvety tannins that carry into a remarkably long, savory, and mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-braised beef (brasato al Barolo), fresh handmade pasta tossed with white truffles, roasted wild game, and aged hard cheeses.
