Hailing from the historic Marcenasco zone in La Morra, the highly complex nose opens with an aristocratic bouquet of dried cherries, wild strawberries, and blood orange peel, masterfully layered with sophisticated notes of licorice, sweet tobacco, tar, and crushed red roses. On the full-bodied yet profoundly elegant palate, it balances a rich, concentrated fruit core and vibrant, linear acidity with a tight, chalky structure of velvety tannins that unfold at a remarkably slow, age-worthy pace in this larger format, carrying into a persistent, savory finish of graphite and mineral spice.

This is very refined and integrated with lots of chewy tannins but they are melted into the wine. Flowers, strawberry and dried orange character. Some candied strawberry and watermelon, too. It lacks a tiny amount in the center palate, but still all there. Drink after 2026.
