Regent Road Rye Whisky

Regent Road Rye Whisky is a Canadian rye from Shelter Point Distillery on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Crafted from 100% B.C.-grown and distilled rye and barley, it is bottled at 40% ABV. Fruit-forward and approachable, it combines bright stone fruit and ginger with milk chocolate, baked apple and spiced fruitcake, followed by vanilla, soft oak and a gentle peppery rye character.

Food Pairing: Roast pork, grilled chicken, aged cheddar, apple pie, milk chocolate, or fruit cake with ginger and warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and fruit-forward, balancing stone fruit and apple with milk chocolate, vanilla, ginger, baking spices and gentle peppery rye.

Nose: Vibrant stone fruit leads into sherbet-like sweetness and fresh ginger, with subtle grain character underneath.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, developing milk chocolate and baked apple alongside spiced fruitcake, rye grain and warming ginger.

Finish: Long and smooth, with vanilla, soft oak tannins, subtle peppery rye spice and returning ginger.
