Realms Of Rye 03 Menthol & Evergreen

Realms of Rye Release No. 03 “Menthol & Evergreen” is a limited-release 100% rye whisky from Sons of Vancouver Distillery in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Matured in ex-Bourbon and new American oak barrels, this expression explores the greener, herbaceous side of rye, with prominent eucalyptus, pine, mint and forest-floor characteristics. It was released on October 11, 2025, with only 368 bottles produced.

Food Pairing: Dark chocolate, roasted walnuts, smoked meats, aged cheddar, herb-roasted pork and mint chocolate desserts.

Tasting Notes: Eucalyptus, chocolate mint leaves, pine needles, tree moss, dill weed, cut lumber, sweet grass, raw sugar, green walnut and dry red wine.

Nose: Fresh eucalyptus and pine needles with mint, wild herbs, sweet grass and earthy forest notes.

Palate: Chocolate mint, green walnut and raw sugar layered with herbaceous rye, dill, pine and woody oak.

Finish: Long, warming and herbaceous with lingering mint, evergreen, dry oak and subtle red-wine notes.

Serve: Enjoy neat or with a small amount of water to open up the high-proof whisky.
