Crafted by the historic Château Purcari in the Ștefan Vodă wine region of southeastern Moldova, 'Maluri de Prut' (Banks of the Prut River) is a red blend showcasing two of Eastern Europe's most intriguing grape varieties: Moldova’s indigenous Rară Neagră and Georgia’s ancient Saperavi. Sourced from vineyards situated along the Prut River, where cool river breezes balance warm sunny days, the grapes are hand-picked and vinified to preserve fruit purity and regional character. Matured in French oak barriques, the wine harmonizes the light, fragrant red-fruit elegance of Rară Neagră with the deep, structured power and dark fruit intensity of Saperavi.
