Kir-Yianni Ramnista Xinomavro 2019 is an aromatic, structured, and age-worthy red wine produced by the renowned Kir-Yianni estate from single-vineyard blocks in Naoussa. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the slopes of Mount Vermio, it undergoes extended maceration and aging in French and American oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a radiant ruby-garnet hue with expressive aromatics of ripe red cherry, wild raspberry, dried rose petals, tomato leaf, black olive, and subtle sweet oak spices. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, balancing lively natural acidity with firm, structured tannins and a long, savory mineral finish reminiscent of fine Barolo.

The aromas are on the ripe and dry side. However, it is still drinking nicely today and probably will for the next few years thanks to its balanced acidity and that hint of tannic tightness.
