A spectacular, spice-forward Kentucky Straight Bourbon named in honor of Christian Heigold, a 19th-century German stonecutter who settled in Louisville. Crafted from a unique high-rye mash bill (70% corn, 25% malted German rye, and 5% malted barley), it is aged in heavily toasted and charred Kelvin Cooperage barrels. Bottled at 95 proof, it perfectly bridges the gap between the sweet, creamy notes of traditional bourbon and the bold, peppery kick of a classic rye.

NOSE

A beautiful, sweet aroma of toasted malt, warm baking spices, dark cherry, and a hint of butterscotch.

PALATE

Chewy, rich, and full-bodied. A rush of silky butterscotch and vanilla cream is quickly met by bright citrus and a bold, peppery rye spice.
