About the Rabbit Hole Dareringer Kentucky Straight Bourbon
An elegant, luxurious, and beautifully complex wheated bourbon. Rabbit Hole Dareringer takes the distillery's already soft, sweet wheated bourbon base (crafted with 18% wheat) and rests it in hand-selected Casknolia Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry casks from Spain. Bottled in tiny batches of just 15 barrels at 93 proof, this exquisite secondary maturation process seamlessly weaves the deep, dark, and jammy fruit notes of the sherry wine with the classic caramel and vanilla backbone of the Kentucky bourbon.
NOSE
Rich, sweet, and jammy with heavy aromas of dark cherry, raisins, caramel, and a distinct hint of sherry wine.
PALATE
Velvety, thick, and exceptionally well-balanced. Deep flavors of dark plum, sweet raisins, and red fruit are beautifully layered over warm vanilla bean and toasted oak.
FINISH
Long, warm, and highly satisfying with a lingering, sweet sherry and gentle baking spice dryness.
