About the Quevedo Porto Colheita 1994
Quevedo Porto Colheita 1994 is a rare single-harvest Tawny Port from Portugal's Douro Valley, matured for decades in seasoned oak casks before bottling. It offers remarkable complexity with layers of dried figs, raisins, toasted walnuts, caramel, orange peel, coffee, and baking spice, balanced by vibrant acidity and an exceptionally long, elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with crème brûlée, pecan pie, roasted nuts, blue cheese, dried fruits, dark chocolate desserts, or enjoyed on its own after dinner.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Showing good wood-aging flavors, this Colheita Port was bottled just at the right moment. Spice and toastiness are poised to take over from the red fruits, giving a touch of freshness as well as a good depth of raisins and toast. Drink now.
