About the Montes Purple Angel Apalta Vineyard Carmenere 2020
An iconic Chilean Carménère from Montes, blending 92% Carménère with 8% Petit Verdot from Colchagua Valley. Blackberry, plum and blueberry mingle with sweet spice, coffee and tobacco, while 18 months in French oak adds depth to its silky, concentrated palate.
Food Pairing: Red meat, rosemary lamb chops, pork ribs, grilled steak, rich cannelloni and hearty dishes with herbs or spice.
