About the Jonqueres d'Oriola Pur Sang
Pur Sang is a red Cotes du Roussillon wine with intense blackcurrant and blackberry aromas, complemented by lightly vanilla, smoky and spicy notes. The palate is round and powerful, showing dark fruit and notable aromatic intensity. Ageing in 300-litre French oak barrels lasts nine to twelve months.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with grilled rib steak, venison stew, or Rossini-style beef tournedos.
