About the Domaine Prieure Roch Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc
Crafted in the heart of Burgundy, France, Domaine Prieuré Roch Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc is an extraordinary, highly coveted natural white wine from one of Burgundy’s most iconic and legendary estates. Founded in 1988 by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch (co-owner and co-director of the mythical Domaine de la Romanée-Conti), Domaine Prieuré Roch is globally renowned for its pioneering commitment to organic, biodynamic, and zero-intervention winemaking. Made primarily from Chardonnay (often blended with rare local white varietals or ancient clones like Chardonnay Rose depending on the vintage), the fruit is sourced from meticulously farmed parcels in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Vinified with whole-cluster native yeast fermentation, extended skin-contact or lees aging in neutral oak casks, and bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, this cuvée yields an energetic, highly complex, and deeply authentic expression of Burgundian terroir.
Food Pairing: Roasted chicken with herbs, seared sea scallops, grilled lobster, wild mushroom risotto, pork loin with apples, aged Comté, and soft artisan cheeses like Époisses or Langres.
