About the Jacques Prieur Beaune Clos de la Feguine Premier Cru Rouge 750ml
This Premier Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 1.59 hectare "Clos de la Féguine" Monopole vineyard, within the Beaune appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 18 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The aging takes place in oak barrels and lasts 17 months.
Intense ruby red in colour, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of black fruits and spices. The sip is fresh, with ripe tannins and excellent persistence.
To pair with roast meats and baked vegetables.
