Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2015 is an exceptionally structured, opulent, and beautifully balanced vintage Champagne crafted from a traditional house blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay sourced from 20 illustrious Grand and Premier Cru vineyards across the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. Displaying a lovely golden hue with bright silver highlights and an remarkably fine, persistent stream of microscopic bubbles, this expressive cuvée opens with a delicate and highly complex bouquet of fresh rose petals, fleshy orchard fruits, and lemon oil, layered harmoniously alongside richer evolved notes of Viennese patisserie, warm brioche, and apple jelly. On the palate, it exhibits a full-bodied, vinous, and fleshy texture that seamlessly balances its voluptuous core of nectarine and ripe stone fruits against a driving line of crisp, racy acidity and a pretty pinpoint mousse. Having spent seven years maturing on its fine lees in the house's deep, cool, and damp subterranean chalk cellars in Épernay, it culminates in an incredibly long, noble, and savory finish defined by a distinctively chalky, saline mineral edge and a lingering trace of toasted nuts.
