Pol Roger Reserve Brut is an exceptionally elegant, harmonious, and beautifully balanced non-vintage Champagne that serves as the definitive hallmark of this historic family-owned house. Equal parts Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay are meticulously sourced from 30 celebrated crus across the region and blended with 25% aged reserve wines to ensure a consistent, aristocratic style. Pouring a gorgeous golden-straw hue in the glass with an incredibly fine, persistent bead, it releases an alluring, powerful bouquet of ripe pear, mango, and fresh apricot jam, beautifully layered with elegant undertones of honeysuckle, fresh jasmine, warm brioche, and vanilla bean. On the palate, a frank and dynamic attack gives way to a fleshy, comforting texture where concentrated flavors of quince jelly and candied orange peel are enlivened by a crisp line of refreshing citrus acidity.
