Poggio Al Tesoro Il Seggio 2023

Poggio Al Tesoro Il Seggio 2023 is a remarkably smooth and expressive Bordeaux blend from the prestigious Bolgheri coast. Named after the primary watercourse running through the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, this wine delivers a vibrant ruby red profile with an enticing bouquet of fresh bramble fruits, ripe plums, and subtle hints of cocoa, tobacco, and wild Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it exhibits a medium-to-full body characterized by silky, enveloping tannins and a core of vertical acidity that adds beautiful precision. The structural depth gained from 15 months of French oak aging culminates in a lively, clean, and beautifully toasted finish that balances classic Tuscan character with global appeal.

Food Pairing: Matches effortlessly with grilled Chianina beef, wild boar charcuterie, mushroom risottos, savory white meat ragout pasta, and fully matured pecorino cheeses.
