About the Canerock Spiced Rum
The Plantation Canerock Spiced Rum comes from the Clarendon Distillery and the Long Pond Distillery in Jamaica. The basis is Jamaican rum varieties, which were flavored by an infusion of vanilla pods, coconut meat, ginger and other delicate spices. Distilled was in the column and pot still process. The rums used matured for up to 3 years, a small proportion even 5 to 10 years in American oak barrels. 10 to 15% of the Plantation Canerock Spiced Rum received a finish in Sherry PX barrels. This resulted in a spirit drink with aromas of pastries, coconuts and vanilla. In the taste, fine caramel notes and raisins are accompanied by allspice and oak notes.
