About the Tacama 'Mulita' Pisco Acholado
Tacama 'Mulita' Pisco Acholado is a Peruvian Pisco produced by the Tacama vineyard in the Ica Valley. Crafted from a blend (acholado) of aromatic and non-aromatic grape varieties—Quebranta, Italia, Albilla, and Torontél—it is single-distilled in copper pot stills from pure, fermented grape must without the addition of water or wood aging, highlighting a balance of fruit, floral, and earthy notes.
Food Pairing: Ceviche, tiradito, grilled octopus, empanadas, lomo saltado, dark chocolate, and fresh tropical fruit.
Tasting Notes : Crystal clear in appearance, offering a smooth, crisp, and rounded mouthfeel with gentle warmth.
Nose : Bright citrus peel, fresh white grapes, floral jasmine, green apple, subtle peach, and light herbal notes.
Palate : Balanced and lively with sweet grape, citrus zest, ripe stone fruits, delicate floral notes, and a touch of soft spice.
Finish : Clean, medium-length, and refreshing with lingering notes of citrus, grape skin, and a dry, warm finish.
Serve : Served neat in a tasting glass, chilled, or as the core ingredient in classic Peruvian cocktails like a Pisco Sour or Chilcano.
