Pine Ridge Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 750ml

An enticing mélange of baking spices intermingled with the mouth-watering aromas of a cherry raspberry compote demands a more in-depth sensory experience. Multiple, varied flavors of cranberry sauce, oven baked shortbread and strawberry jam explode on the palate, culminating in a sweet, juicy, round mid-palate. The acidic backbone provides focus to the lush texture of the wine and drives forward toward notes of vanilla and molasses. These meld nicely with aromatics of fresh blueberries, framed by the soft tannin finish. This wine is very quaffable now and will benefit from cellaring for the next 10 years.

Well-seasoned beer can chicken, with mashed potatoes and grilled broccolini would be a welcome pairing to rival the bountiful fruit contained in this wine.

In its youthful iteration, this energetic red ignites the senses with a mineral base and top notes of blackberry, plum skin, and espresso. With an upright structure, notes of violets and Hoisin sauce combine for a recipe of elegant complexity.

Spiced and minty nose with blackberry, blackcurrant, blue flower, licorice and cedar notes. Full-bodied with lush, succulent fruit and velvety tannins. Ripe and concentrated, with a flavorful, dark-fruited finish. Rich and mellow.

The 2022 Pine Ridge Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a picture-perfect snapshot of what this valley does with the Cab grape. This wine exhibits aromas and flavors of concentrated blackberries, shadings of oak, and a suggestion of flowers. Put a thick ribeye on the grill and enjoy the pairing. The blended 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon incorporates fruit from five AVAs and is about one-third purchased fruit. Marked by black cherries and cassis fruit, it's a full-bodied, soft and lush effort that shows ample richness and texture. It easily handles the 50% new oak (a mix of French and American).
