Crafted in the Southern Rhône Valley of France, Pierre Henri Morel Vacqueyras is a richly layered, characterful red wine that showcases the power and sun-drenched generosity of the Vacqueyras appellation. Nestled at the foot of the dramatic Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range, the vineyards feature alluvial terraces rich in rolled pebbles (galets roulés), sand, and clay. Sourced primarily from old-vine Grenache alongside Syrah and Mourvèdre, the grapes benefit from warm Mediterranean days and the mistral wind, allowing for optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining essential balance. Vinified using traditional concrete vats and aged in a combination of concrete vats and oak casks, this bottling reflects a classic, authentic expression of Rhône terroir.
