Au Pied du Mont Chauve Les Macherelles is a Chardonnay from Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, produced from biodynamically cultivated vineyards. Hand-harvested grapes are whole-cluster pressed, with fermentation in barrel and extended lees ageing. The wine combines fresh density, precision and an elegant expression characteristic of the domaine.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with seared scallops, creamy risotto, roasted halibut and buttered vegetables.
