About the Picpoul de Pinet
Crafted in the sun-drenched Languedoc region of Southern France along the shores of the Bassin de Thau lagoon, Picpoul de Pinet is one of the Mediterranean's most famous and refreshing classic white wines. Derived from the ancient Piquepoul Blanc grape—whose name translates literally to "lip-stinger" due to its mouthwatering, razor-sharp natural acidity—this wine thrives in limestone and sandy soils cooled by fresh maritime breezes. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its pure varietal expression and electric freshness, Picpoul de Pinet is world-renowned as the ultimate seafood white wine.
Food Pairing: Freshly shucked oysters, grilled sardines, Moules Marinières (steamed mussels), garlic shrimp, seared white fish, goat cheese salads, and light tapas.
