About the Peroni Nastro Azzurro 12 Bottles
Peroni Nastro Azzurro is Italy’s premier international pale lager, first launched in 1963 in Rome by Birra Peroni. Named after the "Blue Ribbon" (Nastro Azzurro) award won by the historic Italian ocean liner SS Rex, it is celebrated for its effortless style and crisp, effervescent drinkability. Brewed with a signature blend of two-row spring barley and a quarter of high-quality Italian maize (Nostrano dell’Isola), this lager delivers a clean, refreshing, and highly approachable Mediterranean character.
Food Pairing: The ultimate companion to casual Italian dining. It pairs perfectly with fresh wood-fired pizza (especially Margherita), classic pasta dishes, light antipasti, prosciutto with melon, bruschetta, and fried seafood calamari.
