Peri Peri Malpelo 2024 is a vibrant, organic Sicilian red wine produced by Famiglia De Cerchio from coastal vineyards in southern Sicily. Displaying a brilliant ruby color with violet reflections, it opens with expressive aromas of fresh red fruits—such as strawberries, cherries, and raspberries—accented by subtle floral notes of violets, wild herbs, and delicate spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-balanced with soft tannins, bright acidity, and a clean, fruit-forward, savory finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with grilled red meats, braised beef, bacon cheeseburgers, pasta with tomato ragù, cured meats, and medium-aged cheeses.

That sweetness glides onto the palate, which features sweet wild blueberries, blackberry jam and milk chocolate with orange peel, but more peppery earthiness provides balance and sets up a finish of wild fennel.
