Produced by Giorgio Pelissero at his family’s historic estate, this cuvée takes its name from the "Long Now Foundation"—a philosophical concept emphasizing long-term thinking, patience, and timeless quality—symbolized by the distinctive binary clock graphic on its label. A modern masterpiece blend of 50% Barbera and 50% Nebbiolo, the grapes are sourced from high-elevation estate vineyards rooted in calcareous clay and limestone soils. Barbera contributes vivid acidity, deep color, and plush dark fruit, while Nebbiolo provides aristocratic structure, firm tannins, and complex floral aromas. Aged for 15 to 18 months in 100% new French oak barriques, followed by extended maturation in bottle, this magnum format offers enhanced aging potential, preserving its vibrant freshness while slowly developing profound complexity over decades.
