Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir (Aged Release) 2016 is a complex, fully matured single-estate Pinot Noir from the Glasnevin Gravels of the Waipara Valley in North Canterbury, New Zealand. Cellared at the winery for ten years prior to its commercial release, it exhibits a deep plum hue with a scarlet rim, opening to aromas of dried red cherry, wild blackberry, forest undergrowth, shiitake mushroom, and subtle gamey undertones. On the palate, it is rich, silken, and supple, balancing velvety tannins with vibrant acidity and layers of dark berry, dried herb, and integrated oak spice that persist through a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted duck breast, lamb shoulder, wild mushroom risotto, seared venison, duck confit, and roasted pork.
