About the Chateau Margaux Pavillon Blanc 2013
Produced exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, Pavillon Blanc 2013 reveals elegant aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, white peach, pear, acacia blossom, flint, and subtle oak. Richly textured yet remarkably vibrant, it offers crystalline acidity, exceptional precision, refined minerality, and an extraordinarily long, graceful finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with lobster, seared scallops, grilled turbot, oysters, roast chicken, creamy seafood pasta, goat cheese, or butter-poached asparagus.
94 Points - James Suckling
his has loads of dried lemon, aniseed and fennel seeds aromas and flavors. Lemon zest as well. Full body, dry with bright acidity and fruit. Very intense. Powerful finish. Drink now.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This fresh, crisp wine hovers attractively between crisp, herbal Sauvignon and riper yellow fruits. Touches of wood adds richness to this already-drinkable wine. Drink now or better, from 2017.
