Pastourelle de Clerc Milon is the second wine of Château Clerc Milon, offering classic Pauillac character with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, cedar, graphite, tobacco, violet, and subtle baking spice. Elegant and approachable, it delivers silky tannins, vibrant freshness, refined structure, and a long, polished finish.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef Wellington, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged Comté, braised short ribs, or roasted root vegetables.

Violets, cassis, ripe black cherries, and graphite all emerge from the 2022 Pastourelle De Clerc Milon, a ripe, medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and lively second wine that has tons to love. As with the Grand Vin, it's undeniably one of the best examples of this cuvée to date. It will keep for two decades if well stored.

A tight center-palate to this juicy red, with plum, chocolate and cedar aromas that follow through to a medium body with creamy tannins and a savory finish. Delicious. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, with Carmenere and Petit Verdot. Very attractive now, but will age nicely.

Fresh and fruity with a broad mid-palate, though not the longest. The mint chocolate cooling effect on the finish is delightful. Well-balanced in texture and body, making it highly accessible. A crowd-pleaser with mouthwatering appeal, bottled in June. Easygoing but well-crafted, this offers pure drinking pleasure. 3.78pH. No new oak.
